Outcome

Give the field team the app they’ll actually use.

Dispatch, route and close jobs from one screen — with GPS, signal tests and stock reconciliation built in. The Field Engineer App is the phone-side of NOS.

For

Any operator running installation or maintenance crews.

Field ops is where the operator meets the physical world — and it’s usually where the operator’s data goes to die. Paper stubs, unsynchronised photos, and WhatsApp threads standing in for a work-order system.

The Field Engineer App puts every technician on the same job board, with GPS routing, on-site signal capture and photo evidence pinned to the subscriber record. Stock reconciles itself back to ERP as parts are fitted.

And because it’s offline-first, none of this depends on rural signal. Jobs, forms and photos queue on the device and sync when the tech is back on the network.

Field operations is where the operator meets the physical world — and where the operator data goes to die if the toolchain is bad. Paper stubs, unsynchronised photos, WhatsApp threads standing in for a work-order system, stock counts that never match reality. Netxol addresses each of these on the same graph.

The Field Engineer App puts every technician on the same job board, with GIS routing that already knows the poles, drops and splice points. On-site signal capture writes readings directly to the subscriber record on NMM. Photo evidence pins to the same record. Stock reconciles automatically to Netxol ERP as parts are fitted — no month-end write-off scramble.

Offline-first is not optional for Pakistani or MEA fibre operators — rural drops are the reality. Jobs, forms and photos queue on the device and sync the moment the technician regains signal. See /products/apps/field for the full app detail.

The commercial effect is measurable: fewer wasted truck rolls, shorter time from install to first paid invoice, less field-team churn (better tools retain better technicians). The Field Engineer App plus NMM plus CRM plus Billing on the same graph is the difference between "we run field ops" and "field ops runs itself".

What Netxol does

Signal, photos and sign-offs land in NOS before the tech drives away.

Enable GIS-aware routing

Turn-by-turn nav that knows your poles, drops and splice points.

Photo + signature at doorstep

Sign-off photos and customer signature pinned to the subscriber record before the tech drives away.

FAQ

Questions we get on the first call.

How long does it take to go live?

Small deployments complete in under a week from unboxing the Core to first paying subscriber; larger rollouts scoped in weeks not months.

Do we need to change our existing hardware?

No. NOS ships adapters for every mainstream OLT and router. You keep the gear you own; we replace the tooling above it.

What happens to our data?

Everything stays on your Core appliance by default. Backups go to your object store of choice. No subscriber data leaves your rack unless you turn on an opt-in telemetry channel.

Can we migrate from another platform?

Yes — we run a scoped migration project with matching data mappings and cut-over windows. Standard editions include the first migration.
